On Sunday, March 16, former Elk Grove High School standout Russ Pettis’ current college team, the Cal State San Marcos Cougars, won 6-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Stanislaus State Warriors.

The game took place at CSUSM Baseball Field. This was their first matchup against the Warriors this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 16 at 2:25 p.m. at CSUSM Baseball Field against Stanislaus State Warriors.
