Grant amounts ranged from $1,250 to $25,000. After two rounds of applications, 306 applications were received, 191 were deemed tentatively eligible, and 111 businesses completed the funding process and received $437,500 in grants in the following categories and amounts. All eligible businesses that completed the process received grants.

“Through this program the city was able to quickly provide $437,500 of desperately needed short term capital to our small businesses in the form of grants that do not have to be repaid,” said Elk Grove’s Economic Development Director Darrell Doan. “We know more is needed, but this program delivered meaningful assistance at a time when our businesses required it most,” Mr. Doan said.
The program has concluded due to federal regulations; however, if more funding becomes available, the city will consider additional future programs to assist small businesses.
