On Friday, March 7, former Elk Grove High School standout Sam Frizzi’s current college team, the Southern Illinois Salukis, won 17-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Bellarmine Knights.

The game took place at Itchy Jones Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Knights this season.

The Salukis’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 2 p.m. at Itchy Jones Stadium against Bellarmine Knights.
