On Thursday, Feb. 20, former Pleasant Grove High School standout Tyson Pereria’s current college team, the San Jose State Spartans, won 8-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Utah Valley Wolverines.

The game took place at Excite Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Wolverines this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 3:05 p.m. at Excite Ballpark against Utah Valley Wolverines.
