On Sunday, March 2, former Elk Grove High School standout Katelyn Maciel’s current college team, the Kansas City Roos, lost 17-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Oklahoma Sooners.

The game took place at Love’s Field. This was their first matchup against the Sooners this season.

The Roos’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 2 at 5 p.m. at Arrocha Ballpark against Kansas Jayhawks.
