On Friday, March 7, former Sheldon High School standout Matt Gallant’s current college team, the Charleston Southern Buccaneers, won 7-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Elon Phoenix.

The game took place at Walter C. Latham Park. This was their first matchup against the Phoenix this season.

The Buccaneers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 2 p.m. at Walter C. Latham Park against Elon Phoenix.
