On Friday, Feb. 14, former Sheldon High School standout Kiannah Pierce’s current college team, the North Carolina Tar Heels, won 10-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the George Mason Patriots.

The game took place at Anderson Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Patriots this season.

The Tar Heels’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 3 p.m. at Anderson Softball Stadium against Princeton Tigers.
