On Friday, March 7, former Franklin High School standout Evan Gibbons’ current college team, the Sacramento State Hornets, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Pacific Tigers.

The game took place at John Smith Field. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 6 p.m. at Klein Family Field against Pacific Tigers.
