On Saturday, March 1, former Franklin High School standout Evan Gibbons’ current college team, the Sacramento State Hornets, lost 12-11 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the South Dakota State Jackrabbits.

The game took place at John Smith Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Jackrabbits this season.

The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 2 p.m. at John Smith Field against Pacific Tigers.
